The event is a FUNdraiser to start making an impact in the 2026 midterms. It's part of Sister District's exciting 2025-2026 strategy to boost the campaigns of our amazing candidates where we have a good chance to flip swing states BLUE.

Sister District Sacramento grows progressive power & policy by supporting Battleground State Legislative candidates in swing districts each year. Our goal is to help progressive, values-based candidates to hold onto power or take power in state legislatures. We help our candidates with fundraising and voter contact (e.g. phonebanking, postcarding).
In 2025, we will support 2 endorsed Sister District candidates in Virginia's state legislature. We are also working with our partner Neighborhood democratic Civic Associations to seed our grassroots locally.
At Sister District Sacramento, we have a great community, make a real impact, and have fun along the way.
